Building 6 of the Müller-BBM Verwaltungs- und Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH

From January to March 2007 an invitation to tender was carried out which was won by BMBW Architekten, Munich. Starting in April 2007, the outline, permit and execution planning was carried out. In April 2008, the building permit for two construction stages was given by the municipality of Planegg. Of these two construction stages, only construction stage 6, which comprises an underground parking, staff canteen, seminar rooms and offices, will be constructed at first. Further offices will then be provided with the second construction stage (building stage 7). Completion of construction stage 6 is planned for July 2009. The size of the built-up area will be approx. 3,000 m² with investment costs of approx. 10 million Euro for construction stage 6. The gross building area at present is 5,800 m².This is equivalent to a floor space of 2,700 m² with a gross volume of more than 21,000 m³. The new construction stage will provide modern workplaces for 95 employees.

An outstanding feature is the energy-efficient construction method and the heating via a heat pump and use of groundwater as well as the thermo-active concrete ceilings. The transmission heat requirement falls below the maximum permissible value according to the Energy Saving Regulation by 45 % and the annual primary energy requirement falls below the maximum permissible value by 23 %. In the large seminar room, the electro-acoustic system Vivace developed by Müller-BBM will be installed for demonstration purposes. By means of this system, acoustics in function rooms, e.g. multi-purpose halls, can be adjusted to different types of events, e.g. by an electro-acoustical extension of the reverberation time.

The Müller-BBM Verwaltungs- und Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH is the holding company of the Müller-BBM Group. The company shares of the Müller-BBM Verwaltungs- und Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH are exclusively held by employees of the Müller-BBM Group.
