The ministry of education and cultural affairs of the Russian confederation plans to renovate the National Academic Bolschoi Theatre in Moscow from autumn 2005 to spring 2008. For this purpose, the German company Bosch Rexroth AG was asked to do the entire planning and construction work concerning stage, theatre and audio/video technology. Müller-BBM has accepted the order of planning and site supervision regarding the audio/video technology. The challenge of this project is the close time schedule as well as the high demands on quality taking into consideration the strict authority requirements for monument conservation, as the building is listed as Cultural Heritage of the World.
